Captain Sea Cadets celebrates some of the achievements of cadets and units around the UK

BZ is a naval term that means ‘well done’. It comes from the Bravo and Zulu nautical signal flags being flown together.

Newport Unit rises from the ashes

In 2020, Newport was hit by devastating flooding, destroying works aleady under way. Treasurer Ann Bowen raised £120,000 and the unit has reopened after lots of hard work by the team. BZ to all those involved!

A lasting legacy

East Kilbride Sea Cadets helped to plant a new memorial orchard as part of South Lanarkshire’s Covid-19  remembrance. The cadets planted the trees at James Hamilton Heritage Park.

Flying high 

Fourteen sea cadets were awarded their bronze wings at a special ceremony in Weymouth. The cadets successfully completed the Aviation Foundation Course. BZ to our flying cadets!
