Sailing to victory
Over two days in September, 115 cadets gathered in Southport to put their skills to the test in the National Sailing Regatta
Accompanied by 99 volunteers, who steered them through preparing for this event, cadets competed in dinghy sailing and windsurfing at the National Sailing Regatta, with the trophies presented to the winners by Captain Sea Cadets, Captain Neil Downing RN.
The atmosphere was buzzing at the event, and the cadets gave it their all. New Entry Cadet (NEC) Shashati told us, “The atmosphere today is really friendly.” Junior Cadet Eladawi added: “Everyone was really kind and willing to give things a go!”
