Leave a lasting legacy

Change the lives of young people across the country, and support seafarers across the world, by leaving a gift in your Will

Leaving a gift in your Will to Marine Society and Sea Cadets can make a world of difference. But we know from speaking to supporters that most have not written a Will because of concerns over cost and speaking to solicitors.

We can help on both fronts. We are working with Farewill, offering free Wills. Their team of experts will help you write your Will, with legal advice, at no cost to you.

53% of UK adults have not spoken to anyone about what should happen to their estate upon their passing

In Memory giving

A donation in memory of a loved one is a special way to honour them. You can keep their memory alive by setting up a Tribute Space to share stories, photographs and more. If you are organising a funeral and would like to arrange a collection for MSSC, you can include the Tribute Space on the order of service, and have all the contributions collected in one place.

Charities in the UK receive between £1.8bn and £2.4bn a year from in-memory fundraising
